SPR Food Insecurity Resources

There are two ways for our parishioners to engage with SPR’s response to the food disparity facing so many on Chicago’s South Side. We invite you to explore ways to donate or volunteer!

Donate

On Sundays, we encourage you to bring the following items which parishioners will distribute to local programs throughout the South Side.

  • Canned Goods: Tuna, Garbanzo Beans, Pinto Beans, Black Beans, Corn, Carrots, Peas, Jalapenos

  • Dry Goods: Rice, Pasta, Cereal (Consider gluten free options too!)

  • Toiletries: Toothpaste, Soap, Sanitary Products

We also encourage you to donate to local community programs. Click the links to be taken to each organization’s donation platform.
