Carolyn Pereira The forest floor is always changing. Out of destruction comes new life and beauty. (watercolor on paper)
Christian Clough . I’ve been to Buttermilk Falls three times, July, in the dead of winter, and this time, as the spring thaw was beginning.
I have been publishing a little zine, “Coronazine,” every two weeks and emailing it to friends. They print out the two pages back to back and fold it in half and then in thirds, which yields six little pages (including the cover) and one big page on the back. Issues include a short poem, a little collage, a cartoon of stick figures, a list of words, a puzzle or question, and random information. The themes have ranged from books, counting, snow, zentangles, and thirteen other topics (so far).
Rebecca Lutrell This shawl represents a leap of faith for me. I didn't know if I would have enough to do the lace border at the end, but I weighed the yarn, trusted the measurements, and even had a tiny ball of yarn left over.
Thomas Irving Nothing expresses hope like spring flowers
Ruth Woll The fallen leaves were thick and glorious. I glanced at our birdbath and was captivated by this double vision of golden leaves floating on the water’s reflection of the trees above. (oil on canvas)
Candace Prochaska I began making a quilt for our grandson, Mattias. He is a 6 year old boy in 1st Grade, and he inspires hope and joy every day. Also, whenever I quilt, I am inspired with hope and joy.
Pat Swanson Are our lives in shreds (finely shredded paper money discarded by the US Mint) and in darkness or is the light surrounding and over-coming the darkness? (mixed media-gesso, acrylic, collage)
Sheila Bator I did this piece of pottery several years ago as part of a series entitled Struggles and got it out during the stay at home directive. Both Bob and I had one of those see it again for the first-time moments.
