The Reverend Julianne Buenting
The Rev. Dr. Julianne Buenting was born and raised in a town on the Erie Canal in western New York and moved to Hyde Park in Chicago from New York City in 2001. She graduated with BSN, MS and PhD degrees from SUNY in her initial profession as an RN, Advanced Practice Nurse and Certified Nurse Midwife. She joined the Church of St. Paul and Redeemer in 2002 and was active as a lector, chalice minister, church school teacher, and altar guild leader. She has earned an MA in Theology from St. Bernard’s Institute in Rochester, NY, an MDiv from Seabury Western Theological Seminary in Evanston, IL and an STM (Master’s of Sacred Theology) from Chicago Theological Seminary in Chicago. She specializes in Interim and Transitional Ministry, and is a Centering Prayer facilitator and member of the Circle of Service for the Chicago Chapter of Contemplative Outreach. Julianne+ and her wife, Celena Kalp, reside in the Edgewater neighborhood, with their “fur kids,” Sophie, a 13 year old Goldendoodle and Fleetwood Mac, a rescue hound-shepherd mix.

Christian M. Clough
Director of Music
Christian is originally from Hamilton, NY. He got his start playing music at his hometown parish, continued while a student at the University of Rochester, and then studied choral conducting and organ performance at the Yale Institute of Sacred Music. After working as music director at a parish in New Haven, he went back to Yale to get a master’s in liturgical studies. In addition to all of that, he loves to bike, cook, read, garden, and sing (not surprisingly.). He and his partner Christopher love to travel to Charleston, New England, and Europe, and they have an adorable cocker spaniel named Putney, whom you can usually find guarding the church office during the week.
The Reverend Kyungja "KJ" Oh
KJ grew up on the Northside of Chicago and worked as a graphic designer and consultant for Not-for-Profit organizations before ordination. As a priest she has worked as a chaplain, as a Vicar for 8 years in this diocese and a Rector in Cincinnati. KJ brings a love of the church, a deep spirituality, a commitment to pastoral care, and a studied appreciation for the liturgy. KJ has a full time job as the director of field education and formation/lecturer in practical theology at Bexley-Seabury Seminary. She lives with her partner Melissa in Hyde Park.

Associate Minister for Ministry and Mission
Barnabas Pusnur is originally from Delhi, India, where he served as a pastor in Delhi Bible Fellowship for a few years. After finishing his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, he went to seminary to do an M.Div. He is currently a PhD candidate in Theology at the University of Chicago. Barnabas has had experience in administration, teaching, and pastoral care. He lives in Hyde Park with his wife Padma and daughter Khushi. He loves the church and desires that the church continually be salt and light in the world.

Director of Children's Formation
Monte has led children’s programs in the Anglican Church in his native Zimbabwe as well as in Cambridge, MA. Monte is studying for his Ph.D. at Chicago Theological Seminary in hopes of returning one day to Zimbabwe to teach children’s and youth spirituality in the Seminary there. Monte has been a member of SPR for a couple years and was a Godly Play door-person this past year. His new responsibilities include the Godly Play program, the Nursery, Vacation Bible Camp, and helping parents engage their children around faith.
Addie C. Domske
Addie is originally from western Pennsylvania, where she attended Westminster College and served as a youth leader at a local church. At Westminster, Addie studied Marxist, feminist, and queer literary criticism, and at Stirling University (in Scotland) she studied the nuances between "religious" and "secular" media. In June 2015, Addie graduated with a Master of Arts (A.M.) in Social Work from the University of Chicago. When not hanging out with the young people of SPR, Addie studies liberation theology and the church’s relationship with colonialism for her Master of Divinity at McCormick Theological Seminary. She is a candidate for ordination with the Presbyterian Church (USA) and hopes to serve internationally as a clinical social worker. Addie enjoys media, social and otherwise, and she can often be found spending quality time with her Netflix account.
Children's Music Assistant
Gretchen is a Chicago native and a recent graduate of Vassar College with degrees in Music and German Studies, plus extensive choral and solo singing experience. She studied voice with the world-renowned countertenor, Drew Minter, and piano with opera coach, Miriam Charney. She has several years' experience as a camp counselor working with children, and has logged many hours as a rehearsal leader and teacher. In addition to her role at SPR, she is working in Music Administration at the Lyric Opera and is doing improv and sketch comedy in Chicago. Gretchen leads the St. Nicholas Choir, Children's Chapel music, and the Christmas Pageant.
The Reverend Roger Ferlo
Roger Ferlo is the president emeritus of Bexley Seabury Seminary Federation, Scholar in Residence at The Newberry Library, and President of the Anglican Theological Review. Previously Roger was on the faculty of Virginia Seminary, was the Rector of St. Luke in the Fields in Greenwich Village, and taught literature at Yale. Roger has been a parishioner at SPR since 2012. Roger is married to Anne Harlan, who is an established leader in this parish. They live in Hyde Park.
The Reverend Jack Seymour
Jack joined St. Paul & the Redeemer as a vocational deacon in 2003. He previously served in the Diocese of Springfield. Jack serves as a non-paid clergyperson for our church. The other six days of the week he is the Chief Executive Officer of ReVive Center for Housing and Healing, which is an agency of the Episcopal Diocese of Chicago. He attended Chicago Theological Seminary, where he received a Master of Divinity degree and also holds an Advanced Certificate from The Center for Religion and Psychotherapy of Chicago, which is accredited by the American Association of Pastoral Counselors (AAPC). Jack has two children, Bobby and Kelen. He lives on the near Northwest Side of Chicago.
